The 10th stop of the Project of Dreams Realized (PRO-DR) Roadshow 2025 kicks off today at Dewan SMK Saratok with students, school leavers, and the local community eager to explore what’s next for their future.
The morning started with an inspiring “Hala Tuju Selepas SPM” session by En Hairul Bin Sami, guiding students to plan ahead with confidence. Excitement builds as visitors tour the Education & Career Expo, meeting over 30 government agencies, higher education institutions (IPTA & IPTS), and financial aid providers. Visitors also join hands-on activities like the Fruit Carving Competition and Minecraft Challenge.
PRO-DR 2025 Saratok Launch Builds Bridges to Future Opportunities
The PRO-DR 2025 Roadshow in Saratok was officiated by YB Encik Friday Belik, ADUN N.39 Krian and Member of the TEGAS Board of Trustees.
In his address, YB Friday emphasised the importance of providing equal access to education, skills training, and innovation opportunities for rural youth. He highlighted that PRO-DR serves as a platform for students to explore STEM, TVET, and digital careers, ensuring no one is left behind in Sarawak’s development journey.
The launch featured the screening of the PRO-DR 10-Year Journey video, a symbolic handover of the T&T Mini Lab worth RM15,000 to SMK Saratok, and a tour of the Education & Career Expo.
PRO-DR 2025 Saratok Finishes Strong with Talent and Team Spirit
The spirit of learning and creativity filled Dewan SMK Saratok throughout the day as PRO-DR 2025 came to a close here.
Students tested their knowledge in the Kahoot Quiz and worked together in the Treasure Hunt. Winners of the Fruit Carving and Minecraft competitions were celebrated in the Award Ceremony, marking a proud end to an inspiring day for Saratok’s youth and community.
