The PRO-DR 2025 Roadshow continued its journey today at Dewan IKS, Tanjung Manis with an inspiring session by Harish bin Abdullah, the founder of Ajakcut Barbershop with 15 branches across Sarawak. His talk encouraged youth to believe in their potential and take bold steps towards their dreams.
Students and local community explored career pathways through interactive exhibitions while taking part in the Fruit Carving and Minecraft competitions, which brought creativity and teamwork to life.
PRO-DR 2025 Officially Launched in Tanjung Manis to Drive Skills and Innovation
The eighth stop of the Project of Dreams Realized (PRO-DR) 2025 Roadshow was officiated by YB Datuk Haji Len Talif Salleh, Deputy Minister for Urban Planning, Land Administration, and Environment, ADUN N.41 Kuala Rajang and Chairman of the TEGAS Board of Trustees.
In his address, YB Datuk Len Talif highlighted the importance of STEM and TVET education in rural areas like Tanjung Manis, which is rapidly growing as a strategic economic hub. He emphasised the role of PRO-DR in connecting youth with real opportunities in agriculture technology, digital careers and innovation.
The launch featured the symbolic handover of the T&T Mini Lab to SMK Belawai (worth RM15,000), the PRO-DR 10-Year Journey video, and a tour of the Education & Career Expo, where students actively engaged with participating institutions.
PRO-DR 2025 Tanjung Manis Ends with Strong Youth Engagement
The PRO-DR 2025 stop in Tanjung Manis concluded with strong participation from students during the Kahoot Quiz and Career Exploration Programme by PERKESO.
Winners of the Fruit Carving and Minecraft challenges were celebrated during the prize ceremony, marking the end of a meaningful day full of learning, discovery, and fun.
