The fifth stop of the Project of Dreams Realized (PRO-DR) 2025 Roadshow kicked off today at SMK Mukah, drawing students, school leavers, and the public eager to explore education and career pathways.
The morning began with a “What’s Next After SPM? Exploring Smart Choices for a Brighter Future” talk, aimed at helping youth better understand their opportunities after school. Over 30 institutions and agencies participated in the Education and Career Expo, offering guidance and information for future planning.
Participants also took part in creative and tech-based activities such as the Fruit Carving Competition, STEM showcases, and the Mini Minecraft Challenge. These hands-on experiences blended innovation, fun, and skills development.
PRO-DR 2025 Launches in Mukah to Empower Youth Through Innovation
The Mukah stop of the Project of Dreams Realized (PRO-DR) 2025 Roadshow was officiated by YB Tuan Abdul Yakub Haji Arbi, ADUN N.58 Balingian and Member of the TEGAS Board of Trustees.
In his remarks, YB Abdul Yakub shared his support for youth development initiatives like PRO-DR, which align with Sarawak’s digital transformation agenda. He also highlighted Mukah’s growing role in the SCORE region as a platform for innovation and talent development.
The launch included a symbolic gimmick, the PRO-DR 10-Year Journey video screening, and a handover of the Think & Tinker Mini Lab to SMK Mukah and SK Parish Balingian, empowering students to explore innovation and STEM learning.
Mukah Wraps Up PRO-DR 2025 with Skills, Discovery and Celebration
PRO-DR 2025 in Mukah concluded with a full day of exploration, engagement, and fun activities for students and the public.
After the launch, participants joined a Treasure Hunt around the venue. The activity encouraged teamwork and communication as groups searched for listed items together.
The programme closed with a Kahoot Quiz and Award Ceremony, where winners of the Fruit Carving and Mini Minecraft challenges were announced and celebrated.
