The first day of the Project of Dreams Realized (Pro-DR) Roadshow 2025 begins in Lawas as students, school leavers, parents and job seekers arrive early to explore opportunities in education and career development.
The morning session started with a talk on Hala Tuju Selepas SPM, offering guidance for students on their path forward.
Momentum continues with the Education and Career Expo, featuring over 40 participating institutions and agencies. Visitors are also taking part in hands-on activities including a fruit carving competition at the TVET zone, STEM exhibitions, and the Mini Minecraft Challenge.
Official Launch of Pro-DR 2025 Roadshow in Lawas
The first stop of the Project of Dreams Realized (Pro-DR) Roadshow 2025 in Lawas was officiated by Yang Berusaha Puan Linda anak Yabi, Administrative Officer from the Lawas District Office, representing YB Dato Henry Sum Agong, Member of Parliament for P222 Lawas.
In his speech, YB Dato Henry highlighted that this initiative by TEGAS plays an important role in opening doors for the young generation to explore future careers and digital opportunities, while commending the efforts of TEGAS and its partners in empowering rural youth.
The launch also featured the symbolic handover of the Think & Tinker (T&T) Mini Lab to SMK Lawas, one of TEGAS’ grassroots innovation initiatives. The session continued with a walkabout at the Education and Career Expo, where students actively engaged with institutions and industry players.
Wrapping Up Pro-DR 2025 Lawas with Excitement & Exploration!
The energy in Lawas stayed strong all day as we wrapped up the first stop of the Project of Dreams Realized (Pro-DR) 2025 Roadshow!
In the evening, students took part in the Career Exploration Programme (CEP) by PERKESO, opening their eyes to new career possibilities. The Kahoot! Quiz kept the excitement going, while the day ended with the Mini Minecraft Challenge and fruit carving contest winners receiving their well-deserved prizes.
